Salary:  $27.50-$29.00/Hr for 30 – 40 hrs/week

Job Description:

FV Limitless Construction is looking for a Drywall Installer responsible for installing wallboards to ceilings or to interior walls of buildings and applying plaster. Apply or mount acoustical tiles or blocks, strips, or sheets of shock-absorbing materials to ceiling and walls of buildings.

 

Job responsibilities include:

• Apply drywall to walls or ceilings
• Measure, Cut and fit drywall sheets for installation on walls and ceilings
• Reads blueprints and other specifications to determine method of installation, work procedures and material and tool requirement
• Removes plaster, drywall or paneling using crowbar and hammer
• Position and secure drywall sheets to metal or wooden studs
• Fill joints, holes and cracks with compound using a trowel and broad knife
• Smooth out imperfections and sand areas after each coast

• Ability to exert maximum muscle force to lift, push, pull or carry objects
• Able to determine the kinds of tools and equipment needed to do a job
• Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses and buildings
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools and principles
• Knowledge of machines and power tools used for repair and maintenance

 

Requirements:

• Experience: 2-3 years of experience required
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Language: English
