Responsibilities:

Cuts, platters, and displays products (beef, fish, pork, lamb, veal, poultry). Manages inventory and orders additional merchandise as per daily and weekly rotation. Ensures freshness and quality.
Prepares specialty meat merchandise; checks product to make sure it meets quality standards.
Mentors and supports other meat cutters.
Provides excellent customer service, address customers’ needs promptly and effectively, and model suggestive selling techniques. Ensures to provide customer’s orders accurately and on time.
Maximizes sales potential through effective and proper procedures for prepping, storing, rotating, stocking, and displaying products.
Follows and/or ensures compliance with established procedures, including Weights and Measures, health and sanitation, and safe work practices.
Maintains, or ensures maintenance of, a clean and sanitary working and shopping environment; maintains equipment and follows storage guidelines in accordance with cleanliness and safety standards.
Performs opening, mid, and closing duties as assigned; ensures accuracy of signs and pricing.
Immediately reports safety hazards and violations.

Requirements

High school Diploma

1 year of experience

Salary:

$18 per hour
